This design was developed for a middle east client who had significant experience with previous yachts and therefore knew the requirements for a new boat. It was a real pleasure to receive such a detailed design brief and therefore allow the concept development to really focus on the priorities.
The yacht had to accommodate (and entertain) a significant number of people and the length soon grew to 200m. It was now time to really focus on the design language, signature and identity and not let the project become a cruise liner.
One of the specific requirements of the client was a prayer room which I soon developed into a feature with a ceiling dome constructed with metal glazed glass sheets. With the rose gold hull finish a real beauty was created.
